Being certified means...
What do I need to do to be Certified?
You must conduct 5 recorded Tarot Readings. 1 Audio. 3 Video. 1 Email. This shows you are experienced in a range of styles. Recording is easy these days with smartphones.
A completed project of your choosing (essay, piece of work, research) on some topic related to Tarot
A multiple choice questionnaire in which you have one week to complete
What does make a person a good Tarot Reader?
*The ability to 'hear' a person and their problems
*To be emphatic and compassionate to the story
*To answer a question with clarity and without projection (projection is putting your own fears, desires and unconscious stuff onto the cards)
*To support, assist and guide without 'telling' someone what to do
*To understand the meanings of the Tarot cards
*To know in details the systems/symbols/elements/archetypes within the Tarot cards
*The ability to connect the cards into a coherent story which reflects the needs of the querant
*Practical hands on experience reading the cards for a range of problems to people from different age groups, genders and nationalities.
Study alone will not guarantee a good Tarot reader. Tarot is a very experiential experience - 'doing' Tarot will make you an excellent reader. The Diploma in Tarot allows you to not only learn the facts but also to practice reading the cards and develop the skills mentioned above.
The Diploma in Tarot is practical, full of common sense and gives you the ability to go out into the world and read the cards with confidence and clarity.
Over the years I have seen a change in what the public demands. Whether it is your friends and family or strangers - they want to know how you 'know' Tarot and if you have a qualification. A Tarot Diploma gives you credibility in the eyes of many and it shows you have completed a study program
