CARD DESCRIPTION
A man and a woman stand facing each other. They both hold a cup in their hands. Above them is a black caduceus wand with red lions head and red wings. Behind them in the distance are rolling hills and a small house.
SYMBOLS
Man/Woman
The man and woman represent two energies that meet. The energies can indicate two people, the inner male and female or even two ideas. The cards surrounding the Two of Cups can indicate which two energies it is.
Cups
The Cups represent love and emotion.
Caduceus with Wings
This is the traditional symbol of the Greek God Hermes, the messenger of the Gods. Hermes was the spokesman for the Gods and brought peace to earth. He also ruled commerce and agreements. The Caduceus is in the Two of Cups because it indicates a connection and possible agreement between two people or entities. This card makes the lion seem like he has wings but traditionally they are part of the caduceus.
Lions Head
The red lions head represents passion and emotion. You know that feeling when you meet someone and you feel fully alive? You feel you could talk to them forever! So when two energies or people come together with a close connection and attraction, passion nearly always follows. This could be physical passion or mental/emotional passion.
Wreaths on the Man and Woman’s Head
Wreaths can indicate celebration and victory. Traditionally the wreath consists of Bay leaves. When two energies come together something new is created from the two and there is a celebratory energy around this fact.
Costumes
The woman wears garments of the colors white, blue and green which are the traditional colors of water and the element water is seen as feminine. The man is dressed in yellow and red which are masculine colors of fire. On closer inspection the woman clothing looks like the High Priestess and the man, like the Fool.
House on a hill in the background
This house may indicate the potential future home of this couple as/after they join together. It also indicates that something new can be built from two energies coming together.

The answer will be not to make an agreement. This card also traditionally can be associated with conflict and disagreement between two people or entities.
Two important questions to consider with a reversed Two of Cups:
What is the source for this conflict?
Why can you not move towards peace, both inner and outer?
ATTRACTION SPELL
From the time of the Dark Moon to the Full Moon is the best time to do this spell. Make sure you have a quiet space and time with no distractions.
Create an altar. Use a red cloth upon it.
On the cloth place items that indicate to you what attraction and passion mean. It could be a ruby stone, a pomegranate, roses, chocolate, sexy underwear.
Light a red candle and place on the cloth the Two of Cups.
As you drink something that indicates passion to you (red wine, dark hot chocolate, a cocktail or a sophisticated tea) please write exactly what you are looking for in a partner. Write down every detail you can think of.
Now place the Two of Cups in the center of the page and fold the page around the card. Let the candle burn out. Then place the package in a hidden place and finish your ritual.
On the night of the Full Moon, take the card out and burn the paper imaging the smoke rising up and finding your new lover/partner/soul mate.
