TWO OF WANDS POWERWORDS
The Two of Wands means you are in a stage of wanting or needing to plan your future.
The Two of Wands comes into your life when you are starting to dream and plan for your future. It may be an adventure, a project, something creative or even travel. Or it could be planning in general.
A man holds the world in his right hand (active masculine) and a staff in his left hand (receptive feminine). He is looking out into the horizon. He stands on the battlement of a castle which offers him security but he is not in the present. He is considering the future. In the distance we can see greenery, mountains and the sea.
The man is very strongly focused on the sea. We can imagine that he is day dreaming.
Globe of the World
The world represents all the potential that is in front of this man.
This is the symbol of energy and creativity. A thought is swords energy but to put it into action is wands energy.
Red / Orange Clothing
Red and Orange are the colors of the Base and Second Chakra. These are the Chackras of foundation and inspiration. The colors are energetic and lively. This man is planning his future and he does so with an inner excitement.
The sea reminds us of travel, adventure and the unknown. The future is not decided yet but it appears attractive and mysterious.
The greenery represents abundance. It is abundant to dream and create goals. It is abundant to stay fresh and strive for change and adventure.
The mountains represent the journey in the future. Actual travel or the ups and downs of implementing goals and working towards an end result.

THE TWO OF WANDS REVERSED
When the Two of Wands comes into your life…
I see this card coming up for women when they simply find it too hard to make goals and plans. They seem to be running around (often exhausted) and a lack of goals and planning means lots of wasted energy. They simply do not know what to focus on and cannot choose the right path/door to open.
Recently a mother came to visit me with her daughter. After an hour her daughter was tired and the frazzled mother looked at her and said, ‘Perhaps we will order pizza?’ only to say seconds later, ‘Wait I have lasagne in the freezer, I can quickly cook it in the microwave’, only to say a moment later, ‘…but hey its so nice outside we could do a picnic’. The child looked stressed with all the options and the mother was breaking out in a sweat. Obviously the mother needed a plan and it would make her life alot easier. I can be guilty of this also and then the Two of Wands reversed comes into my life to remind me that its time to get back to basics and do some healthy future planning!
If you feel lost I advise you to take out your Two of Wands and place it REVERSED in front of you. Then ask the cards what you need to do to make this card go upright. Pull three cards and heed their advice

How much energy are you wasting by not future planning?
What steps can you take today to make your life more manageable?
