If you love the Goddess as much as I do then you will probably want a feminine Goddess based Tarot deck in your collection. Here are my top FIVE fave tarot and oracle decks that I use on a regular basis.
My favorite feminine Tarot deck. I have a few but I keep coming back to this one. It was the first round deck and inspired a whole generation of women. It is very female centered so the issue I sometimes have with this deck is the energy is often anti-men when it comes to cards like The Emperor. However it is super feminist and I have to say I like that too! Vicki Noble also wrote a great book and workbook to go along with these cards and I highly recommend them.
One of the most loved Tarot decks depicting goddesses and very close in its imagery to the Rider Waite style. I find the brown color a bit monotone throughout the deck and others who felt the same trimmed the borders, but I love using the cards. To me the energy in this deck is very balanced.
I love this deck. It looks at the dark goddess aspect (the shadow of the feminine). A great ‘in your face’ deck for facing you with your life. I highly recommend this deck and the book that comes along with it is beautiful and rewarding with its insights.
A new release in 2017. This deck helps women access their wisdom through the three aspects of their lives. Good for personal and self development work. I am enjoying using this deck. I find it straightforward and easy to use.
A very pretty deck based on the Rider Waite style. Easy to read and a good Goddess deck to start with. The art is very ‘luscious’ and the women are shown in powerful imagery.
OK I could not stop at my five fave decks, so here is my well worn oracle deck – The Goddess Oracle.
My favorite Goddess Oracle. I have had my deck since its first publication over 17 years ago. I photocopied the pictures and put them around my house. The accompanying book is beautiful with stories and rituals for each goddess. A very powerful deck.
If you wish to call the Goddess and her energies into your life then these decks above can be a wonderful way to start. There are PLENTY more Goddess themed decks – these are just my current faves. As women I think it is important for us to call back the feminine image of ‘God’. It is crucial for our healing of the collective psyche of women.
