Love and Tarot have a special connection.
In my experience LOVE AND TAROT often come together. The majority of questions I have answered with the Tarot cards over the years have revolved around Love and Relationships no matter where I was in the world. Regardless of country, race, religion or culture we all want to be loved.
If you have a deck of Tarot cards you can start to ask questions yourself and get guidance during difficult times. How cool is that?
There are certain cards that are more focused on love such as the 2 of Cups, 9 and 10 of Cups or the The Lovers but any card can actually explain what is happening. Each of the 78 cards in a Tarot Deck can describe more about the love relationship you are in.
If you are new to Tarot and you are trying to understand your love life and you throw some cards, try not to look for the meanings of the cards in a book or website. Instead look at the picture.
What do you feel? What is happening in the picture? How does the picture relate to your question? Sometimes the picture is enough to trigger a deeper understanding for you.
Traditionally the Cups cards in the Tarot card indicates matters to do with the heart.
There are 14 Cups cards in the Minor Arcana part of the Tarot deck. 10 cards with numbers and 4 cards depicting people.
These 4 people are extra tuned in to their emotions and feelings because they are ruled by the element of water.
So often, due to fate or synchronicity the cups cards will pop up often when you are asking about love.
Water can be gentle and soothing (a good bath) or turbulent or destructive (tsunami) and relationships can be the same. We might be the type of person that tends to choose healthy relationships OR we might be the type that chooses over and over again to be consumed by the other.
Over the years I have seen radical transformations in people who use the Tarot cards to understand their relationships better. Some have stayed in their relationship with the aim to make it healthy and harmonious. Others quickly walked away. Thanks to Tarot, decisions were easier to make.
Tarot can tell you when you have met your Soul Mate.
Tarot can tell you what is happening to you in relation to the other.
Tarot can explain why you react the way you do.
Tarot can help you understand why you choose the men that you do (or women).
The cards can explain why your relationship is turbulent, boring or risky.
If you are having issues in your relationship (or lack of one) get out your Tarot deck today and try asking some of the questions below.
A good number of cards to pull for each question is between 1 – 3.
Why did I choose him (her)?
How is the relationship today?
Does he (she) love me?
Is this relationship healthy for me?
What are my REAL feelings about this relationship?
What can I do to improve the relationship?
What do I need to let go of, in order for the relationship to stay healthy?
LOVE AND TAROT SPREAD
This is my famous LOVE AND TAROT spread I often like to do for other people when they are asking about their relationship.
It is simple and direct.
Shuffle the cards and spread them out face downwards. Pull 4 cards and lay them out like in the picture above.
The card on the far left is card number 1. The card on the far right is card number 4.
How are we together…
1. Mentally – Communication, Conversations, Intellect
2. Physically – Sexual compatibility, Touching, Supportive
3. Emotionally – Love, Respect, Understanding, Empathy
4. Spiritually – Deep connections, Soul Mate Stuff, Lessons together
Use your intuition and feelings to give you the answers.
This spread is great for telling you what is really going on in the relationship and may present blind spots that you need to become aware of.
